So you want to install some LED lights at home, what do you need to make it work?

The first thing that you will need to decide is the kind of LED strip that you need. You can choose between a white light LED strip or a color strip that also includes white (RGBW). If the LEDs are just for decoration, then standard quality might be sufficient for your needs. But if you want better and more uniform light coverage, then choose the premium strips.

Secondly, you will need a power supply, or a driver. Pay attention to the power requirements of the strip that you choose (watts/meter) and how long will be the strip that you are installing. This will determine if you have enough with 60W or if you need a 100W driver. If you will not be installing a wall dimmer, then you can go for a non dimming driver.

Finally, if you want to be able to control your LED strip wirelessly, you will need a controller. Our Zigbee controller will integrate with existing hubs from Amazon Echo, Philips Hue, Osram Smart+ or SmartThings. Or if you already have a Casambi installation, choose the Casambi CBU-PWM4.
